The Honors Program is proud to announce the launch of Orbit, An Online Journal of Student Work. This is a special opportunity for Illinois State Honors students to get their work published and seen by academic professionals all over the country.
This is part of an ongoing effort to encourage Honors students to engage in professional writing. We will be looking for research articles, poems, plays, general articles on various disciplines, even podcasts.
If you are working on a research or writing project this is an excellent window for your work to be seen. All you do is have your faculty mentor help you polish the project and prepare it for publication. Then, depending on your particular discipline, you can contact any one of our editors:
Dr. Lane Crothers (POL), Social Sciences (alcroth@ilstu.edu); 438-8813.
Dr. Ann Haugo (THE), Fine Arts (ahaugo@ilstu.edu); 438-3955.
Dr. Brenda Jeffers, (MCN), Nursing (brjeffe@ilstu.edu); 438-7400.
Dr. Craig McLachlan (CHE), Sciences (ccmclau@ilstu.edu); 438-7019.
Dr. Jacqueline Romano (C&I), Education (jromano@ilstu.edu); 438-3836.
Dr. Peter Smith (KNR), Applied Sciences (pjsmit2@ilstu.edu); 438-3553.
