The Honors Program is one of the sponsors of the Undergraduate Research Symposium, along with the Graduate School, Research & Sponsored Programs, and Milner Library. The 2008 symposium will be held on Friday, April 18. On-line registration begins on January 28th and ends on February 29, 2008. Learn more here
The Symposium is a forum for students to present their research in a professional setting and have their abstract published in the Symposium Proceedings Book. The Symposium allows students to increase their ability to communicate their research in a clear and concise manner to persons outside of their field by creating a university wide cross discipline environment for presentations.
Presenters are eligible to apply for Presentation Expense Reimbursement for research or creative projects presented at off-campus professional conferences or events. Funds are available through the Graduate School when matched by department/school funding.

Participating in the Undergraduate Research Symposium or volunteering to provide feedback to presenters count as experiences for the Sophomore Honors Designation.
