Purpose/Description:
The mission of Sigma Iota Epsilon is to recognize high scholastic achievement and to facilitate contact between students and businessmen to foster further interest and achievement in the field of management.

Membership Criteria:
The requirements are a 3.2 GPA, 30 completed hours in the College of Business, and a major in Business Management or Business Administration. The organization is also open to MBA students who have completed a minimum of 9 hours and have a GPA of at least 3.4.

There is also a pledge class which is open to Management and BUA majors who have between 15 and 30 hours in the College of Business and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Students, upon completion of 30 + hours and have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.2, are then invited to join as full members. Pledge members are not required to pay the one-time membership costs.

Membership Costs:
A one-time fee of $48.

Membership Benefits:
The benefits include a lifetime membership, a pin and certificate to recognize the accomplishment, and recognition of students' achievements by faculty and staff members, including the Dean of the College of Business.
