Departmental Affiliation:
University-wide. Specifically a national honor society for freshmen after their first semester. Members must be full-time and may be any major or field of study.

Purpose/Description:
Alpha Lambda Delta is strictly an honorary society.

Membership Criteria:
Students who earn a 3.5 GPA at the end of their first semester freshman year are eligible to join. Membership is only for one year. Members receive a pin and may participate in an initiation ceremony conducted by the previous year's members.

$30

Eligibility for scholarships and some seminars (see national website above); volunteer charity work.
