The Faculty Colleague Program allows students to design an entire program suited to their special interests and capabilities. The individualized curriculum may include such opportunities as admission to advanced courses, independent honors study, research participation, enrollment in certain graduate courses, and modification of departmental and general education requirements where appropriate.

Student members of the Faculty Colleague Program are eligible for personal advisement by a Faculty Colleague during all semesters.

Advantages of the Faculty Colleague Program:

  • Goal clarification through planning ahead
  • Early contact and advice from faculty
  • On-going mentoring with faculty
  • Flexibility in major/minor/general requirements when appropriate and approved
