Who should see an Honors Advisor?

Freshmen: During the fall semester, freshmen Honors students are required to meet with their Honors advisor prior to the advanced registration period for the spring semester. In the spring, freshmen Honors students are strongly encouraged to meet with their Honors Advisor to discuss fall registration.

Upperclassmen with Honors questions: Although upper-class students and transfer students are advised primarily in their major departments, they may also consult with an Honors advisor whenever they choose. In addition to helping develop students’ academic plans, Honors advisors will also write letters of recommendation and sign insurance forms to verify eligibility for a “good student discount.”

New Honors students: Students who enter the Honors Program after their first semester or after transfering to ISU are welcome to meet with an Honors advisor if they have questions about the program.

Check Your Honors Credit in iCampus
You can view your Honors credit on iCampus.  Go to the "My Info" tab and enter your PIN.  Under the "Status" heading, click on "Progress Toward My Degree."  This page will give you information on graduation requirements, general education, and major and minor requirements.  At the bottom of the page, there is a list of the courses you have taken by semester.  After the course title, any course taken for Honors credit will have "Honors" in parentheses.  If you are working on in-course honors, the "Honors" will not show up until the end of the semester.
