Jennifer Frobish is a proud alum of Northern Illinois University, graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational/Corporate Communications. Having been active in orientation, admissions, and housing, Jennifer discovered her passion for working with students and chose to pursue a degree in College Student Personnel Administration from Illinois State University. Jennifer obtained her Masters from Illinois State in 2004.
As a professional, Jennifer has worked at Illinois Wesleyan University as a Residence Director, providing her the opportunity to coordinate First Year Experience programming, implement Transfer Student Orientation, advise Panhellenic Council, and much more.
Jennifer joins the Honors staff as an academic advisor, serving students in the College of Arts and Sciences. She will also be co-facilitating three sections of Honors Freshman Seminar, working with the S.A.L.T. team, developing the program’s newsletter, advising Alpha Lambda Delta, and working with various other office projects.
Outside of her work at Illinois State, Jennifer is an active member of Alpha Phi, a Panhellenic sorority. She serves as the Chapter Advisor to the Beta Alpha chapter at the University of Illinois. She lives in Bloomington with her husband, Steven, and her two children, Sophie and Matt.
Jennifer is enthusiastic about her work, college football (Roll Tide), and her family, so pop in anytime to chat!
